Fall 2013: Jayashankar won the UCSB Classic championship as part of his 12-4 singles record…he was also 4-5 in doubles…was the only Bear to win a group posted a 3-0 record to win a group at the Audi Napa Valley Tennis Classic, as he went 3-0 in Group 8; Jayashankar fell in the playoffs at Meadowood…in doubles, reached the semifinals of the UCSB Classic with Jack Sanford.

Spring 2013: The Northwestern transfer posted a 5-10 singles record and a 5-5 doubles record, pairing mostly with Jordan Smith.

Fall 2012: Compiled a 2-5 singles record...earned a doubles record of 5-3...paired with Wyatt Houghton he reached the semifinals of the UC Davis Aggie Invitational and playing with Jordan Smith reached the semifinals of the Pacific Tigers Invitational.

Personal/Previous: Economics major...the San Francisco Bay Area native is a transfer from Northwestern, who came in with an overall record of 11-9 during his freshman year with the Wildcats...his Saratoga HS team finished No. 3 nationally for the 2010-11 season...he was the 2011 CCS singles champion, claimed the 2011 San Jose Mercury News Player of the Year award and was named the 2011 MVP of his high school team...parents are Prema Jayashankar and Jay Bharaduaj.
