TEMPE, Ariz. - California concluded its regular season Sunday after placing 16th overall at the PING/ASU Invitational at the ASU Karsten Golf Course.

The Bears finished the three-round tournament with a 313-302-305=920 (+56) led by freshman Hannah Suh who finished 61st in the individual standings with a 227 (+11).

Suh was even across the board Sunday in hitting even-par on 15 holes - the lone blemishes being bogeys on the fifth, 12th and 18th. Sophomore Morgan Thompson finished not far behind with a 78-75-76=229 (+13). Thompson had a rough six-hole stretch on the back nine before rebounding with birdies on second and fourth to card 76 on the day to place 65th individually.

Freshman Roberta Roller completed her first tournament with her strongest round of the weekend after carding a three-over 75 Sunday. Roller shot three birdies (1st, 5th, 15th) against six bogeys Sunday to finish 74th overall.

Classmate Carly Childs carded an 80 Sunday to finish with an 81-74-80=235 (+19) and Jacqueline Williams finished 77-80-79=236 (+20) to round out the California effort in Tempe. Williams's overall solid day was derailed by double bogeys on the 16th and 18th to prevent a top 70 finish.

Competing as an individual, Nicola Rossler improved for the third consecutive round and placed 48th overall with a 77-75-71=223 (+7) at the tournament. Rossler had the 10th best final round of all competitors with her one-under 71 Sunday. Starting on the 10th hole, the junior went even over the back nine with a birdie on 14 and bogey on 15 before hitting birdies on the 5th and 9th against a 6th-hole bogey on the front nine.
