Berkeley - The California Golden Bear women's swimming team will compete at the Pac-10 Championships, Feb. 27-Mar. 1 in Long Beach at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool. Cal is poised to finish higher than its third-place finish last season behind the veteran leadership from Emily Silver, Dana Vollmer and Lauren Rogers. The Pac-10 Diving Championships are Feb. 28-Mar. 1 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Wash.
WHAT: Pacific-10 Conference Women's Swimming Championships.
WHERE: Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool, Long Beach, Calif.
WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 27 - Saturday, Mar. 1. The Pac-10 Women's Swimming Championships will be televised on Fox Sports Net on a tape delay basis. Check your local listings for channel information.
WHO: Women's swimming teams from ARIZONA, ARIZONA STATE, CALIFORNIA, OREGON STATE, STANFORD, UCLA, USC, WASHINGTON and WASHINGTON STATE will compete for bragging rights at the 2008 Pac-10 Women's Swimming Championship.
TICKETS: All tickets will be available at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool on the day of the event only.
