After dropping two of three doubles matches, the Bears were able to rebound in singles competition, dropping the Arizona State Sun Devils, 5-2. The win moves the Bears record to, 10-3, on the season and, 3-1, in the Pac-10.
The Sun Devils earned the first point of the day, by taking court No. 1 and No. 2 in doubles action. But the Bears were able to regroup, by winning five of six singles matches.
ASU played the Bears tough taking three of the singles matches to the three set maximum, but in the end Raquel Kops-Jones, Catherine Lynch, and Nicole Havlicek all won their eighteenth matches of the year to preserve the win. Jieun Jacobs picked up her fifteenth victory, while Jessica Shu won her second match in as many days.
