Cal Men's Diving Completes Wildcat Invitational

California freshman Thomas Selby placed seventh and sophomore Tyler Pullen finished eighth on the platform during the final day of the Wildcat Diving Invitational Sunday (Nov. 20) at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Arizona. Selby, from Menlo Park, Calif., posted a score of 258.80 to edge Pullen, who had tallied a score of 255.95.

Senior Andreas Santucci placed 14th on the platform with a score of 201.00.

On Saturday at the Wildcat Invitational, Selby had finished 19th on the three-meter board with a mark of 264.80, while Pullen was 20th with a score of 260.55.

A highlight for Todd Mulzet's men's diving team so far this season was Oct. 21 versus Utah when Pullen won the one-meter board with a mark of 308.93, followed by Selby's 299.85. Selby was second on the three-meter board against the Utes as well, recording a score of 313.28.

The Bears next compete in the UCLA Diving Invitational at Stanford, Jan. 13-15, 2012, at Avery Aquatic Center.
