BERKELEY - Clear Channel Communications, owner of Cal's men's basketball flagship station KNEW Radio (910 AM), informed Cal this week that due to new commitments as a result of recent format changes, it will not break into regularly scheduled weekday programming to air Golden Bear basketball.

For tonight's Cal game at Oregon State, the contest will be broadcast in its entirety on 910 AM, starting at 7 p.m., but the 30-minute pregame show will be heard on network affiliates, as well on online through the All-Access channel on CalBears.com.

This decision only affects Cal programming scheduled before 7 p.m. weekdays now that the Gene Burns Show runs from 4-7 p.m. on 910 AM.

IMG College, Cal's radio rights holder, and Cal Athletics are working together to resolve the issue for future broadcasts, including the Cal Coaches Corner that airs on Mondays from 6-7 p.m., and we apologize to our fans for any inconvenience.
