BERKELEY - Cal fans who would like to travel to the Bears' football game at Michigan State Sept. 14 are invited to join a package being put together by Bear Treks. The four-day/three-night trip begins on Thursday, Sept. 12 and returns on Sunday, Sept. 15.
The tour prices are:
$1,060 per person, double occupancy (land & air)
$735 per person, double occupancy (land only)
$300 single supplement
Home base will be Detroit where you will be on your own Thursday evening. Friday morning promises to be a very interesting journey back in time with a visit to Grosse Pointe and Edsel Ford's Estate. Then it's off to Dearborn and a visit to Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum, where some of America's most historic buildings are reassembled in a village setting. Friday evening will be a hosted dinner at the Henry Ford Estate before returning to Detroit. Saturday is devoted to East Lansing and Michigan State University. There will be a no-host tailgate party prior to the game and a tour of the campus after the game.
Sunday you will be on your own until your flight back home.
