PULLMAN, Wash. - The Cal women's tennis team moved its record to 13-3 on the season after defeating the Washington State Cougars, 6-1, on Thursday in Pullman, Wash. The Golden Bears played their third consecutive match without the nation's No. 1 player, Raquel Kops-Jones, registering a perfect record over the past week in her absence. They have now won five matches in a row dating back to Feb. 29 and will look to make it six straight against the Huskies of Washington on Saturday.

Catherine Lynch and Nicole Havlicek both picked up their 21st victories of the season, while Monica Wiesener's record moves to 14-5 on the year.

Jody Scheldt, hoping to get back into the swing of things after her match-winning performance last weekend, defeated Chris Martinez for her 15th victory, 6-3, 6-3.

Havlicek and Scheldt together moved to 15-3 on the year and the pair of Lynch and Wiesener won their third match as a duo.
