Prices for season tickets start as low as $125 per person. Seating for young alumni (graduating classes 2008-12) is $99 plus a $100 donation, with a limit of two tickets per alumnus. Cal students may log in separately to secure their tickets for the fall campaign (click here). Through a new partnership with the Cal Alumni Association (CAA), CAA members can receive a special discount on 2012 GoldZone season tickets. To learn more, visit this link.

With capacity being reduced from 72,000 to approximately 63,000 seats, fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure the top seat locations. One of the benefits of being a season-ticket holder is priority seat-selection opportunities in future years. For the 2012 season, Athletics donors, as well as 2010 and 2011 season-ticket holders, have already had their chance to choose their locations for this season.

Another advantage is that through Cal's new Gold Standard initiative, each season-ticket holder will receive a dedicated customer service specialist; a price discount compared to single-game tickets; early access for bowl-game, partial-season and single-game tickets; and much more.

The 2012 home schedule begins with Nevada on Sept. 1, a game that will include a grand celebration of the reopening of the stadium. Other highlights this fall include Homecoming vs. UCLA Oct. 6, the 30th anniversary of "The Play" when Stanford visits for the Big Game Oct. 20, a special Friday night game against Washington Nov. 2 and a finale vs. defending Pac-12 champion Oregon Nov. 10.

After 88 seasons in its original configuration, Memorial Stadium is scheduled to reopen this fall as a modernized facility with a host of upgrades intended to improve the entire gameday experience. Among the new features welcoming fans will be:

  • A wider concourse with enlarged restrooms and concession stands (sections MM-VV)

  • State-of-the art scoreboards with enhanced video and graphics capabilities within the existing structures at the north and south ends of the stadium
  • Improved ADA access and seating areas throughout the building
  • A field surface lowered by four feet that will improved sightlines, especially for those in the lower rows
  • Enhanced food options featuring a wide variety of quality choices through Cal's new partnership with Cal Dining

Cal fans also have the opportunity to receive amenities never previously offered in Memorial Stadium through participation in the Endowment Seating Program (ESP).
