BERKELEY - Second-seeded Stanford and No. 4 seed Iowa State won their games Saturday night and will meet to determine the Berkeley Regional champion Monday with a berth in the Final Four on the line. The contest will tip off at 6 p.m. in Haas Pavilion.

Stanford got 25 points and 11 rebounds from Jayne Appel to power past third-seeded Ohio State, 84-66, in one semifinal. The Cardinal improved to 32-4 with its 19th consecutive victory.

Iowa State (27-8), meanwhile, overcame a seven-point deficit with just over a minute to go to escape with a 69-68 win over ninth-seeded Michigan State in the first semifinal. Alison Lacey's three-pointer with 27.5 seconds left provided the difference.
