Over 200 people attended the Cal women's basketball's program's annual "Meet the Bears" event on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Haas Pavilion. Golden Bear fans first watched the team practice and then interacted with the players in a variety of ways.

The team led an hour-long skills clinic where kids and parents were broken up into groups and rotated through skills stations led by different players. The stations included: Form Shooting, Lay-ups, Shots off the Dribble, Shots off the Pass, Passing, Ball Handling, Dribble Tag, Rebounding and Defense. The attendees also received free pizza and drinks while they watched practice. Cal head coach Caren Horstmeyer concluded the skills clinic by teaching one-on-one moves to music.

After the clinic, participants received free posters, met the players one-on-one and obtained autographs. They could also try on and take a picture in a Cal uniform.
