His second round scheduled for Friday was postponed until Saturday due to inclement weather, but when he returned to the course unable to match his first-round score as he posted a four-over par 75 on Saturday for a 36-hole total of five-over par 147 and a tie for 96th place.

The top 70 golfers made the cut and began third round action on Saturday that was eventually suspended due to darkness before the round could be completed. Tyrone Van Aswegen (-10) held a two-shot lead over Brian Stuard (-8) when play was suspended with most of the field, including the two leaders, still on the course.
