Homecoming Rally to Follow Friday's Cal Volleyball Match

After Friday's Cal-Oregon volleyball match - which begins at 7 p.m. - join the Rally Committee and thousands of football fans for the Homecoming Rally in Haas Pavilion.
Prepare to be dazzled with California spirit in preparation for the Golden Bears' impending football match-up with the UCLA Bruins on Saturday. The evening will include performances by Cal Spirit groups, dance teams and other student organizations, along with prizes, contests and much more. Meet coaches Ben Braun and Caren Horstmeyer and players from the men's and women's basketball teams.
Admission to the volleyball match, which starts at 7 p.m., is $8 for adults and $3 for kids. After 8 p.m., admission to Haas Pavilion is free to enjoy the end of the match and the Homecoming Rally.

FunZone Kicks Off Early this Saturday
FunZone begins at 12 noon this Saturday, one-and-a-half hours earlier than normal. Given the expected crowd of close to 70,000, we encourage fans to arrive at Memorial Stadium early.
FunZone will have expanded activities, including a new jumbo television where fans can watch the early Pac-10 football game. Then fans are encouraged to help fire up the team at the March to Victory, which begins at 1:40 p.m.
Also on Saturday, Cal's fourth-ranked men's water polo team takes on No. 1 UCLA at Spieker Aquatics Center at 1 p.m. Admission is $8 for adult and kids are free.
After football, see the 13th-ranked Cal women's volleyball team take on Oregon State at 7:30 p.m. Use your football ticket for free admission into the match! Regular prices: Adults $8 and kids $3.
Cal Band Pregame Performance on Sproul Plaza
Catch the Cal Band performance on Sproul Plaza, a pregame tradition that begins one-and-a-half hours prior to the game (2:30 p.m. this week). Following the performance, follow the Cal Band up through campus, past the Campanile, and toward Memorial Stadium for the game.
