Emily Childs won her first collegiate tournament this fall, finishing as the individual medalist at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational. She also set a women's course record at Green Valley Golf Course, shooting a six-under 66 during a qualifying round on Sept. 24. She came into the fall on a hot streak, having won back-to-back championships, earning medalist honors at both the Northern California Golf Association Women's Championships and the California Women's Championship in consecutive weeks.
