BERKELEY - Cal's two-time NCAA doubles champions Amanda Augustus and Amy Jensen were named to the Rolex Collegiate All-Star team Monday.

The all-star squad includes three singles players and three doubles teams from the Division I level, as well as other winners from the Division II, Division III, NAIA and junior college ranks. All members of the team will be honored at a banquet Aug. 27 at the West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, N.Y.

In May, third-seeded Augustus and Jensen defeated the top-ranked duo of Vanessa Castellano and Marissa Catlin from Georgia, 4-6, 7-5, 6-1, at the NCAA championships in Gainesville, Fla. The win gave Augustus and Jensen an automatic berth into the main draw of the U.S. Open.

Augustus and Jensen are only the second doubles team to repeat as NCAA champions, following Florida's Dawn Buth and Stephanie Nickitas, who won back-to-back titles in 1996 and '97. Last year, Augustus and Jensen also made history, as the duo became the first unseeded tandem to ever win a doubles title.

Augustus completed her senior season in 1999 as a four-time All-American and three-time first team All-Pac-10 pick. Jensen, twice named an All-American, returns for her final campaign next year.
