NEW YORK - After having 16 20-point performances last season, Randle earned his third 20-point outing tonight, recording 26 points. Randle went 6-for-12 from behind the arc. Last night against Syracuse, Randle posted 25 points and connected on five treys.

Omondi Amoke had a career night for the Bears. Amoke had a career-high, and a game-high, 15 rebounds. He also tied his career best in points with 11. Cal shot 8-for-9 from the free-throw line as a team, and Amoke was 5-for-6 from the charity stripe.

Making his second straight start, Jorge Gutierrez held Ohio State's leading scorer Evan Turner to just four points in the first half. Turner scored 22 of his 26 points in the second half after Gutierrez got into foul trouble.

Randle now boasts 173 career three-pointers. He is 10 treys away from tying Richard Midgley for second all-time in school history. Randle also collected four assists, putting him into sixth on Cal's all-time assist chart with 389. He is seven assists away from tying Butch Hays for fifth.
