Cal now leads the all-time series with Cal Poly, 2-1. The Mustangs won the last matchup in the 2003-04 season, 63-62.

Cal has won 42 of its last 46 nonconference home games.

Cal held Cal Poly to only 12 points in the first half on 15.4% (4-26). The previous low this season was 21 against Notre Dame on Nov. 26, 2010. It was the lowest point total allowed in a half since the Bears gave up 16 in the second half against Arizona State on Feb. 27, 2010.

For the game, the Golden Bears held the Mustangs to only 41 points. The lowest since they gave up 46, also to Arizona State on Feb. 27, 2010. It was also the most recent time that the Bears allowed less than 50 points.

Markhuri Sanders-Frison led Cal scorers with 15 on the night, tying his career high. He also led Cal rebounders with 10, good for the second double-double of his career.

After not getting any second chance points against San Diego State, Cal responded with nine offensive rebounds and nine second chance points against Cal Poly.
