The No. 6 California Golden Bear women's golf team competes in their final tournament before the Pac-10 Championships, playing in the PING/ASU Invitational at Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz. April 1-3.
The three-day, 54 hole tournament will be played at Arizona State's Par-72, 6,230 yard Karsten Golf Course. Karsten will also be the site for the Pac-10 Championship, which will take place April 18-20.
The PING/ASU Invitational will once again feature a talented field that includes Arizona State, Arizona, California, Denver, New Mexico, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Pepperdine, San Diego State, Stanford, Texas, TCU, UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, Washington, and Washington State.
Cal dropped just two spots in this week's Golfweek rankings, coming in at No. 6. The Bears have four individuals ranked in the top-50: junior Joanne Lee (16), senior Pia Halbig (36), junior Daniela Holmqvist (43) and junior Emily Childs (46).
The Bears lineup will be Halbig, Childs, Lee, Holmqvist, and freshman Nicola Roessler.
Tee times begin at 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday for the final round. Live Scoring will be available through Golfstat.com.
