BERKELEY - This Saturday's Cal football game against Washington State, the Pac-10 opener for both teams, will be available on television on multiple channels. The game will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. and will be aired in northern California by Comcast SportsNet West (CSN-West) and in the Pacific Northwest by Fox Sports Northwest. For all locations, please check local listings for availability.
CSN-West is available on basic cable throughout most of northern California, but only on digital cable in the Bay Area. However, for this and all Cal live telecasts, the feed will be available to non-digital Comcast subscribers on cable Ch. 99. Click here for a channel directory for Comcast in northern California.
The game will also be available in southern California on Time Warner Cable (Ch. 258 and 864) - again, check your own local listings or call your cable company to verify. In Hawaii, the game is available on Time Warner Digital on Ch. 246.
For Direct TV customers with the Sports Pack, the game is scheduled to be available on Ch. 698 and Ch. 687. Through the Dish Network nationally, fans with various bonus packages, including America's Top 100 Plus, can view on Ch. 409 or Ch. 426.
The entire Cal football schedule is available on the stations of the ISP Sports/Cal Radio Network in many markets throughout California. Listen to Joe Starkey provide the play-by-play with former Cal star quarterback Troy Taylor giving the analysis on flagship station KGO 810 AM in the San Francisco area. Other affiliates are: KGIL Radio (1260 AM Los Angeles), XSURF Radio (540 AM San Diego), KNTK Radio (102.3 Weed), KCBL Radio (1340 AM Fresno), KESP Radio (970 AM Modesto), KVBL Radio (1400 AM Visalia) and KTKZ Radio (1380 AM Sacramento). The pre-game show begins 30 minutes prior to kickoff.
