California Guard Keanna Levy

On watching the selection show with fans this year compared to 2006, when the team was on the bubble and watched the selection show by themselves:
"I experienced it last year and it was great to get in, but this is a really great atmosphere this year. I'm just so excited to return to the Tournament. We're going to pull off great things, and I'm just excited."

On the Bears' first-round opponent, Notre Dame:
"We don't know much about them, but I'm sure the coaches are going to scout them until they can't scout anymore. We're going to put it in their hands and trust that they will prepare us to be the best that we can be."

California Guard Lauren Greif

On being with Cal fans during the selection show:
"This has been a great atmosphere for us and we really appreciate everyone coming out to support us."

On traveling to Pittsburgh to play Notre Dame in the first round:
"Going down to Pittsburgh is going to be a little bit of a trip. We don't know much yet about Notre Dame, but we'll get ready."

California Forward Ashley Walker

On getting the eighth seed in the Dallas Region:
"We were all excited to see our name come up and not have to worry about if it's going to come up, just watch to see where we're going and who we're playing."

On Cal's readiness to play in the Tournament:
"We're very ready. We're tired of practicing every day. We're ready to play."

California Forward Devanei Hampton

On how the team prepared in the days leading up to its selection:
"We really just worked on ourselves and what we need to improve. We know we have to capitalize on what [our opponent] can't do against us."

On the prospect of playing top regional seed North Carolina in the second round:
"We've got to take it one game at a time, and that's pretty much it."

On comparing last year's experience during the selection show to this year's experience:
"Last year we had jitterbugs, just sitting there hoping and praying, but this year it was just a question of where and when, and that was great."

On head coach Joanne Boyle's impact on Cal's success:
"She is a tremendous coach. She's brought a lot to the table, along with her staff. She's been to the Tournament and the Final Four, so she knows how to get us mentally and physically prepared to play the top teams."
