"I think our team really took to heart and transitioned from the Rutgers game to this game, doing all the little things well. We really took care of the ball. We only had 13 turnovers against that press, We did a great job, for the most part, of boxing out and only letting them get one shot. We really pushed the ball and executed well in transition. I think everyone just did a good job of doing their job and not trying to do too much. This was a total team effort."
"I think people really realize that we play as a team. We can go ten or eleven deep. And anybody can play for us. It's been great to get Shantrell Sneed and Casey Morris early minutes, to get them into the rotation. It's a great total team win on every end. We came down here to win this tournament. One down and two to go."
On Junior Guard Natasha Vital's 22-point performance
"Natasha Vital played with a great deal of confidence tonight. She was shooting the ball really well, and other players were setting her up very well, giving her some great looks. When they left her open, she just shot the ball. Natasha is a gym rat. She is always in the gym, shooting the ball, and that work it is paying off."
