BERKELEY, Calif. - A big crowd is expected for the Cal-Stanford women's basketball game on Friday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. at Haas Pavilion.
As of 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 15, the pre-sale for the game was 1,901 tickets. Advance ticket sales are already 500 more than last year's presale total for the Cal-Stanford game in Berkeley. Fans can continue to purchase tickets prior to the game at CalBears.com, (800) GO BEARS, or in person at the Cal Athletic Ticket Office at 2223 Fulton Street in Berkeley.
Tickets will be available at the front entrance of Haas Pavilion on Friday beginning at 6 p.m.
The Cal women's basketball attendance record of 3,681 was set Feb. 18, 2000, against Stanford.
Cal takes its best start in 11 years at 9-6 overall (2-4 Pac-10) into the game, while the Cardinal is ranked No. 7 nationally at 13-2 overall and 6-0 in the Pac-10. This is the first time since the 1992-93 season that both teams square off with a winning mark.
