Andrea Waters, in her fourth season with the Cal Bears, has been one of the true leaders for the team. She also has extended her leadership off the course and onto campus where she has been heavily involved in Bear SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee).
Andrea has competed in 11 tournaments so far in her Cal career, including the Pac-10 Championships and NCAA West Regional in 2008.

What are your goals after Cal? My current career goal is to work in business insurance brokerage. My goal after Cal, however, is to make a difference in whatever community I become a part of.
What sport teams are you a fan of? San Diego Padres, San Diego Chargers and any Cal Teams!
When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a doctor.
What are you most proud of? One of my greatest accomplishments is being a student-athlete here at Cal.
What is your favorite article of clothing? My jeans
Where is your favorite place to relax? Laying in the sun by my pool reading a good book.
Who has been your favorite professor and what has been your favorite class at Cal? Professor Vaisey, Sociology 160
If you had a time machine, what year/era would you like to travel to? Because I am a history nerd, I would love to go back and attend the drafting of the US Constitution
What is one thing about your hometown that you miss? Mexican Food
What is the strongest part of your game? Sand play
What is your favorite sport other than golf? Football
What is your favorite sports movie? Peaceful Warrior
What is your favorite non-sports movie of all-time? Oceans 11
What challenge do you find in golf that you do not find in any other sport? The inability to blame anyone but yourself. But in realizing this, there is the unique challenge of moving forward positively.
What is a secret talent that few people know you have? Few people know that I write songs and I am currently learning how to compose music
