The California Golden Bears women's basketball team added three more games to the 2009-10 television broadcast schedule with home games against Washington, UCLA, and Oregon State all to be shown on Comcast channels.
Comcast will br broadcasting the Thursday, Jan. 14 game against Washington on CSN+. The Feb. 6 game against UCLA will be shown on CSN Bay Area and the Feb. 18 game will be available on CSN California.
With the addition of these three games to the four games already slated to be carried by FSN/CSN Bay Area (Baylor on Nov. 22, at Stanford on Jan. 2, at home against Arizona State on Jan. 30, and at Washington on Feb. 14), the Bears will have at least seven televised games. There is a possibility that more late season games will be picked up by FSN/CSN Bay Area as wildcard broadcasting additions. Those decisions will be made later on during the season.
The Bears begin practicing on Friday, Oct. 16. They will hold a free exhibition game on Tuesday, Nov. 3 when they host Vanguard. The regular season gets underway on Sunday, Nov. 15 when the Bears take on Idaho State at Haas Pavilion. Season tickets are still available by calling 800-GO-BEARS.
