BERKELEY - Single-game tickets for the Cal-USC football game at Memorial Stadium on October 3 are no longer available, but fans may still attend the game by becoming a Cal football season ticket holder.
A limited number of season tickets remain in the BlueZone and GoldZone sections with plans starting at $99 for seniors and youth grades 12 and under. There is also a discount on regular reserved season tickets for Cal young alumni and faculty/staff.
Season ticket holder benefits include a discounted price in comparison to single-game ticket purchases, as well as the convenience of enjoying the same seat for every home game, and priority over the general public to purchase tickets for the Big Game at Stanford and bowl game tickets.
Anticipation is high for the upcoming 2009 Cal football season with a No. 12 ranking in the USA Today Top 25 Coaches' Preseason Poll and a Heisman Trophy candidate in Jahvid Best.
Cal's 2009 training camp continues through August 29 with the day's final practice of camp followed by Fan Appreciation Day at Memorial Stadium from 12:00 - 2:00 pm, PT. All practices are closed to the public.
The Bears begin their 2009 campaign with a nationally televised ESPN2 contest against Maryland at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 5 (7:00 p.m., PT). Cal fans are encouraged to participate in a Blue Out in the season-opener. The best way to show your support is to pick up the CalBears.com/Blueout.
