See Jahvid Best's 88-Yard TD Run

Jahvid Best of the Detroit Lions highlighted the efforts of the former Cal players in the NFL with his 88-yard touchdown run against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. Best went untouched for his impressive touchdown run, and racked up 163 yards on just 12 carries on the night. Also in that Bears-Lions contest, Chris Conte of the Bears saw some action on special teams, almost recovering a fumble on a muffed punt, but he touched the ball when he was out of bounds.

Philadelphia's DeSean Jackson found the endzone on a nice run after a short pass towards the sidelines against the Buffalo Bills. Jackson finished with five catches for 86 yards and the score. Jackson currently ranks 16th in the league in receiving yards per game at 82.0. Nnamdi Asomugha recorded five tackles for the Eagles, one of which was for a loss.

Aaron Rodgers had a nice second half to keep the Green Bay Packers undefeated with a victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Rodgers, who currently ranks first in the league in passing completion percentage (73.0) and third in passing yards per game (331.2), passed for 396 yards and two touchdowns. Green Bay Linebacker Desmond Bishop is currently tied for ninth in the league in tackles with 30. Also in that Packers-Falcons game, Tony Gonzalez paced the Falcons in receiving once again, collecting six catches for 60 yards. Thomas DeCoud of the Falcons registered eight tackles and two QB hits.

Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks busted loose for a 47-yard run against the New York Giants, and later punched in the one-yard touchdown plunge on the same drive. He finished with 12 carries for 98 yards. Brandon Mebane of the Seahawks chipped in two tackles in that contest.

One of Cal's veteran players in the NFL, Andre Carter posted seven tackles and a QB hit against the New York Jets.

The Minnesota Vikings' Ryan Longwell booted a 53-yard field goal against the Arizona Cardinals.
