OKLAHOMA CITY - Facing elimination from the 2011 Women's College World Series, No. 7-seeded California sent the native daughters Cowgirls of Oklahoma State packing with a 6-2 win on Saturday morning. The Golden Bears scored first and battled back from a 2-1 deficit with a four-run sixth inning to drop the Cowgirls.

Cal now faces Florida in another elimination game that is set to begin at 4 p.m. PT/6 p.m.

Ashley Decker was the offensive hero of the game with a triple for three RBI that put the Bears ahead for good. Elia Reid and Victoria Jones also earned RBI.

Jolene Henderson pitched the complete-game victory.

The Bears scored their first run of the WCWS in the bottom of the second, when Victoria Jones singled up the middle for Lindsey Ziegenhirt to score from second. Five straight singles by the Cowgirls in the top of the fourth scored two runs to take a 2-1 lead.

The Bears responded in fine fashion with four runs off three hits and one OSU error in the bottom of the fourth. Freshman designated player Ashley Decker hit the first triple of her Cal career with two outs to score three runs.

Elia Reid tacked on one more run in the bottom of the sixth with her ninth homer of the year.

Sophomore right-hander Kat Espinosa started and suffered the loss after allowing five earned runs on nine hits in five innings of work. She struck out eight and walked two. Sarah Odom came in as relief in the bottom of the sixth after Elia Reid's homer.

The first pitch of the game hit Mariah Gearhart's left leg and Ari Morrison moved her to second with a sacrifice bunt. Alysia Hamilton chopped a pitch back to Jolene Henderson in the circle, unintentionally moving Gearhart to third.

Cal got its first baserunner to start the bottom of the second courtesy an opposite-field single from Lindsey Ziegenhirt. A sacrifice bunt from Frani Echavarria moved Ziegenhirt to second. With two outs, Victoria Jones singled up the middle and Ziegenhirt beat the throw home.

In the top of the fourth, Alysia Hamilton straightened out her swing for a solid single up the middle. Julie Ward golfed it into no man's land behind second base. Still with one out, Chelsea Garcia loaded the bases with a hit to shallow left field. Tamara Brown hit a one-hopped to left to plate Hamilton.

Ashley Decker earned the first walk of the game off of Espinosa and Jones moved her to second with a powerful one-hopper single to left center. Jordan Wallace took her 17th pitch to her body for a trip to first, loading the bases with two outs for Elia Reid, who struck out swinging to end the inning.

Vonk had a one-out single to left and moved to third when Williams doubled down the right-field line. With two outs, Frani Echavarria walked to load the bases for freshman Ashley Decker. Decker drilled the ball to right for the first triple of her Cal career, plating three runs. Victoria Jones hit a grounder to short, where it was bobbled by Chelsea Garcia, allowing Decker to score an unearned run.
