BERKELEY - California junior quarterback Kevin Riley was named the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday for the first time in his career.
Riley threw a career-high four touchdowns on a day in which he completed 17-of-26 passes for 298 yards to mark the second-highest total of his career. After starting 1-of-6, Riley caught fire with second quarter scoring strikes to Skylar Curran and Nyan Boateng. He added touchdown passes to Marvin Jones and Shane Vereen in the third and fourth quarters, respectively.
