Incoming California Golden Bear women's basketball recruit Afure Jemerigbe earned a spot on the USA Today High School All-American second team.

Jemerigbe, a 5-11 guard from St. Mary's High School in Stockton, averaged 13.2 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, and 2.6 assists per game in her senior season in high school.

The USA Today High School All-American team consists of a five member first team, five member second team, and a five member third team.

Jemerigbe was also named to the Parade Magazine All-American second team. Fellow Cal recruit Lindsay Sherbert was named third team All-American by Parade Magazine.

Both Sherbert and Jemerigbe were also WBCA And McDonald's All-Americans this season.
