The Bears were leading 3-2 and went on to win the next four of five games to pull away for the eventual victory. Cal won its first doubles match on court three with Bojana Bobusic and Rachael Dillon beating Carmen Pop and Lauren Sabacinski 8-3. Like on court two, Cal took control of the match.
