BERKELEY - Brandon Hagy and Joanne Lee led their respective California golf teams to Pac-12 Championships, making the pair the California Muscle Milk Student-Athletes of the Week.

Brandon Hagy - Men's Golf

Hagy led Cal to its first conference championship in school history and its fifth victory of the season as the Golden Bears won the Pac-12 Championship for the first time in the event's 53-year history. Hagy hit a 40-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole Sunday to force a playoff with Oregon and then was the only player from either team to birdie the deciding second playoff hole when he hit a 25-footer. Hagy tied for fifth on the final player leader board to pace all Cal golfers (73-73-66-68 - 280, -8). After opening the tournament with back-to-back one-over par rounds of 73 on Thursday, he equaled a career best six-under par 66 on Friday and then posted a four-under par 68 on Sunday as he combined for 13 birdies over the final two days to rocket up 16 places in the standings.

Joanne Lee - Women's Golf

Lee, who finished fourth at the Pac-12 Championships, sealed the Bears victory with a birdie on the 18th hole. The Bears were tied with the USC Trojans with just two golfers left on the final hole. Lee stuck her wedge shot and then converted a six-foot uphill putt to get the birdie and secure the victory for the Bears.
