Memorial Stadium set amidst the beauty of Strawberry Canyon will always be the most breathtaking backdrop in all of college football. But many new amenities are changing for the better for Cal football fans this upcoming season.
Getting to Memorial Stadium is now easier than ever. Take BART to the Berkeley station and then catch the Bear Express Trolley for a free ride right up the center of campus. The shuttle picks up passengers just one block from BART, at the corner of Center and Fulton St. The Bear Express drops you off near FunZone, just one block from Memorial Stadium.
The Bear Express is also available to those fans wishing to drive and park in the downtown business district. New single game parking lots are also now available for $20 per game at:
Be sure to check out the FunZone Tailgate Party on Maxwell Family Field, located just north of Memorial Stadium. Admission is free.
FunZone festivities begin two-and-a-half hours prior to Cal football home games and are open to all fans. Enjoy great food from Cancun Taqueria, Compadres and West Coast Pizza, as well as music, soft drinks, and a premier beer garden featuring Pyramid Ales and Budweiser drafts.
FunZone also includes all the interactive games the kids love in the KidsZone youth play area.
Come out early for the Bears' "March to Victory," where fans can welcome the Bears to Memorial Stadium on game day. Approximately two hours and 20 minutes before kickoff, Cal fans and spirit groups meet at FunZone to form a human tunnel to root on the Bears as they go into the locker room.

Once inside the stadium, fans will have a wider variety of food options including grilled chicken sandwiches and ceaser salads. Concessionaires will also sell products within the bowl of the stadium, so you can purchase refreshing beverages and snacks right from your seat.
New guest service staff will also be available in the reserved seating sections to help to show you to your seat and answer any questions fans may have. Fans with reserved tickets also must be sure to have their ticket ready to present to the usher upon entering the reserving seating area. There will also be a new Guest Service Tent located on the outer concourse near the North Tunnel.
The new Momentum Turf and Blue and Gold Zones will also add a splash of color to the stadium. There are also are new seatbacks rentals available for a $5 each. Fans are also encouraged to wear their True Blue T-shirts, the official fan shirts of the 2003 Golden Bear Football Team. True Blue shirts are available for purchase online at www.calbears.com, from the University bookstore, or at the game.
