BERKELEY, Calif. - California's Amanda Augustus (Palos Verdes Estates) and Amy Jensen (Brisbane, Australia), who became the first unseeded doubles team in history to capture an NCAA tennis title when they defeated top-ranked Dawn Buth and Stephanie Nickitas of Florida in May, have been named to the 1998 Rolex Collegiate All-Star Team and will be honored by Rolex, Tennis Magazine and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) at a banquet on Friday, August 28, at the West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, N.Y.

The selections for the 1998 team were made by the ITA, in conjunction with Tennis Magazine, and include the nations top-ranked men's and women's tennis players in NCAA Division I, II and III, as well as NAIA and Junior/Community College. The team also includes the 1998 NCAA Individual Champions and the winners of the 1998 Rolex National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships.

As members of the 11-player 1998 squad, Augustus and Jensen will be treated by Rolex Watch U.S.A. and Tennis Magazine to a weekend in New York, highlighted by Friday's activities at the West Side Tennis Club, including a special luncheon in their honor where their awards will be presented by tennis legend Stan Smith.
