"I just think it was a good game had by our team. I think Washington came out prepared. Tia did a good job getting them ready for us in the first half. We weren't settled. We were rushing things. I thought our team did a great job coming out in the second half and playing our caliber of basketball. I was happy with that."
"We had a long talk at halftime about what we weren't doing well. We needed to get up in people's faces and make things tough. For us, it was all about taking care of the ball. We had 11 turnovers at the half. We were giving opportunities away. Our posts were traveling, double dribbling against the zone. Our guards weren't being aggressive. I think we got some tips and steals early in the second half that led to some layups, sort of settled us down. And then we just broke it open and started hitting some shots. And we really got on the boards. That was one of the biggest things."
"Last year didn't really come up this week. We don't have that whole revenge thing. It's who we are now, today. This team right here taking care of business."
"We need strong inside play to succeed in the Pac-10. For us, though, balance is best. When the post players get double and triple teamed, that they can find guards who are open and repost and get easier touches on the second time around."
