Head Coach Joanne Boyle
"Really pleased with the weekend and finishing up this way. We were playing two really good teams. For us, we were finding our identity and our personality. As a coach, I am just pleased to see the energy, the effort, the chemistry and the continuity with the team. They figured it out in a very short period of time. It has been really fun to watch."
On whether she did something different to get Lindsay Sherbert open looks
"They played a lot of zone. Also, I think the team did a good job of finding her. I think she did a good job of understanding where she needed to slide on the wings to find her shots. But the team looked for her. Rama, who tends to shoot more than pass, became a really good passer tonight for the right reasons."
On the upcoming road trip to Washington
"They have to understand, going on the road, we had a good weekend and did a good job maybe helping our RPI, and now we start a road trip. We are going to be uncomfortable and stretched. You are going outside your element a little bit. Going on this road trip, it is a business trip. Approach it one game at a time and come back with another really good weekend and go with that."
Freshman guard Lindsay Sherbert
On hitting six three-pointers
"I was feeling it out there. I just started a new routine where I shoot before. Maybe that has helped me. I didn't hesitate. Well, I did a couple of times and then I messed up, so I didn't hesitate. It was fun."
Sophomore forward Talia Caldwell
On her 18 rebound performance
"Every game I feel like rebounding is one of my big duties on the team. I was just excited for this game. I felt good. I didn't feel I jumped high. I just had good timing. And them playing zone helped a lot."
