Cal Men Divers Perform Well at USC Invite

LOS ANGELES, CALIF - The California men's diving team, under the direction of first-year coach Todd Mulzet, performed well during the early season USC Invitational, held Nov. 5-6 at McDonald's Swim Stadium in Los Angeles. The highlight for the Golden Bears during the two-day competition was junior Bobby Sullivan placing third on the platform board with a total of 246.70 on Friday.

Also on Friday, senior Thomas Henninger was fifth on the one-meter competition with a score of 275.95, while Sullivan was seventh on the one-meter with a mark of 261.00. On Saturday, Sullivan finished fifth on the three-meter board (261.20) and Henninger was sixth (259.20).

The Bear divers will next compete at the Texas Diving Invitational on Dec. 2-4 in Austin, Texas.
