BERKELEY - The University of California men's and women's diving squads performed well at the USC Diving Invitational, Fri., Nov. 7-9.

On the men's side, senior Nic Bartolotta won the one-meter springboard event. Bartolotta secured the victory with a score of 609.35. Sophomore Nathaniel Dean placed sixth (436.80), while freshman Matthew Belanger (428.75) placed seventh and sophomore Noah Chutz finished eighth (428.00).

In the three-meter springboard, Bartolotta finished fourth with a score of 466.25. Dean placed fifth (456.45), while freshmen Charles Slender (379.75) and Belanger (371.00) placed seventh and eighth respectively.

On the women's side, senior Christina Flynn (395.80) placed sixth in the three-meter springboard competition and eighth (436.15) in the one-meter event.

The Cal women's diving team is next in action at the San Jose State/Oregon State dual meet in San Jose Friday, Nov. 15 and against Rice Sunday, Nov. 17 in Berkeley. The men's diving team heads to the Texas Invitational in Austin, Texas, Dec. 5-7.
