*Senior Haley Woods hit her 15th and 16th home runs of the season. She is now third on Cal's single-season home run list. Her career high is 16, which she produced in 2004.
*With her two homers, senior Haley Woods picked up three RBI bringing her season total to 55 - which is third on Cal's single season list. Woods holds the first and second spots on the single-season list as well - 57 in 2004 and 58 in 2005. She was already Cal's all-time leader in career RBI. She now has 191 overall.
*It was Haley Woods' fourth multi-homer game this season. She had hit two home runs in a game two other times this season - against Illinois (Feb. 17) and Mississippi Valley State (March 2). She roped three homers against Florida International (March 5).
*Haley Woods' first home run was the first earned run Nebraska pitcher Ashley DeBuhr had given up in 34 innings.
*Sophomore Julie Meyer hit her eighth home run of the season.
*Kristina Thorson recorded her 100th career victory. She is one of only three pitchers in Cal history to have won 100 or more games. Michele Granger won 119 in her career, and Jocelyn Forest recorded 103 victories.
*Kristina Thorson has not given up an earned run in 34 consecutive innings. Both of Nebraska's runs Saturday were unearned.
*Kristina Thorson entered Saturday's game with 1,023 career strikeouts and 413 on the season. She is now 1,035 in her career and 425 in 2006. She is ranked sixth in the Pac-10 single-season strikeout list and seventh on the conference's career strikeout list.
*The win pushes Cal's NCAA Regional record to 51-28.
*The win improves Cal coach Diane Ninemire's record in NCAA regional play to 48-23. She has advanced the Bears to the regionals in all 19 seasons of her head coaching career.
