Golden Bears Scott Frandsen and Nitto Simensen both placed in the Top 10 in their respective events at the World Rowing Championships in Eton, Great Britain, over the weekend.
Frandsen, racing in the Canadian four, was second in the B final for eight place overall. The Canadian boat led Ireland through the first three quarters of the race, but was overtaken near the finish. Ireland completed the event in 5:53.66 to Canada's 5:54.39.
Representing Norway in the double sculls, Simensen was fourth in the B final for 10th place in the final standings. Germany won the B race in 6:13.55, with Norway crossing the line in 6:17.22.
