Ryan Anderson scored 30 points vs. Arizona after finishing with 32 points against Arizona State Thursday to become the first Cal player to score 30 points in consecutive games since Joe Shipp had 30 at Cleveland State on Nov. 30, 2002 and 30 vs. Howard on Dec. 3, 2002. He is also the first Bear to have back-to-back 30-point games in Pac-10 play since Ed Gray scored 33 at Oregon State on Jan. 16, 1997 and 30 at Oregon on Jan. 18, 1997.

Eric Vierneisel finished with a career-high 6 assists. As a team, the Bears had 23 assists on 29 baskets (79.3%).

Cal outrebounded Arizona, 32-20, to post at last a +10 margin for the sixth time this season.

The Bears shot 53.7 percent from the floor, shooting higher than 50 percent for the first time since going for 55.9 percent vs. Long Beach State on Dec. 28.

Cal took a season-low 11 three-pointers in the game. However, the Bears made five of their attempts, led by Anderson, who was 3-for-3.

Jamal Boykin came off the bench for 10 points and six rebounds in 14 minutes, his first double-figure game since totaling 18 vs. Long Beach State.
