Quattrocchi Takes 5th on Platform at Texas Invitational

AUSTIN, Texas - California freshman diver Joe Quattrocchi finished fifth in the platform with a score of 268.75 on the last day of the Texas Invitational on Saturday at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. The Golden Bears, who only brought their divers to Texas, scored 94 points and took sixth place out of 10 teams in the three-day meet.

Texas divers filled the top three spots in the platform, with Matt Cooper winning the title with a score of 462.50.

Golden Bears sophomore Tom Henninger placed eighth with a score of 251.15 and sophomore Taylor Dehn was ninth with a score of 246.60.
