TEAM NOTES
• California started the starting lineup of Clarendon (G), Boyd (G), Jemerigbe (G), Brandon (F) and Caldwell (F) for the eighth consecutive game

• The Bears led 50-23 at halftime -- the second-highest single-half input of the season for the Bears. Cal's highest this season was a 53-point first half against Saint Mary's.

• Cal hit 80 points for the first time since a 91-58 win over Eastern Washington in the opener of the Cal Classic.

• Improves to 2-0 all-time against CSU Bakersfield, the other meeting being an 86-56 victory in Berkeley last season.

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER NOTES

Brittany Boyd
• Led the Bears in scoring for the second consecutive game - 28 at Duke, 19 at CSU Bakersfield (tied for team lead with Gennifer Brandon)

Gennifer Brandon
• Scored a season-high 19 points, 15 coming in the first half.

Justine Hartman
• Scored a season-high 12 points after surpassing her previous season-high of 8 points in the first half alone.
• Matched her career best with two blocked shots in the game

Afure Jemerigbe
• Matched her career-best with three assists in the game.

Mikayla Lyles
• Scored a season-high eight points with two three-pointers and a lay-up.

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• The Bears opened the game on a 13-1 run.
