Mychal Kendricks ""First off, I want to thank Coach Tedford and the rest of the coaching staff for giving me an opportunity to play at this great university, get a great education and come to a place that has really helped me grow as a person. Looking back on these past four years, it's gone by super fast. I made a lot of friends that are going to be in my life for the rest of my life. I wouldn't trade my experience for the world. It's helped me become who I am today. It made me realize how much of a blessing it was to have this opportunity. It's going to be sad to leave, but after it's all said and done, I plan on moving back here, having a family here and living in Berkeley."
Brock Mansion I don't know if there is any way that I can sum up the past 5 years here at Cal.. There have been a number of people that have influenced my time here, and I know for a fact that there isn't enough room for me to thank everyone that has been apart of my experience here.. But first and foremost I want to thank my parents for everything that they have done for me while I have been away from home.. I know for a fact that it has not been easy with everything life has thrown at me.. Mom, there isn't a mother on this planet that could fill the shoes you have worn being my mother.. The ultimate, most caring, loving, and understanding mother anyone could ask for, I thank you and hope you know how much I love you! Dad, don't know if I can put into words everything that comes to mind about us and everything that you have done for me and my experience here at Cal.. But, regardless of the outcome good or bad I appreciate everything that you have done for me while I've been here at Cal.. Bebe, thank you so much for all the cookies and cards and other goodies you have sent me over the years here, I promise they made every minute I spent here easier.. Paw Paw, thank you for all the words of encouragement and for all the support! And the rest of the family (Uncle Bill, Aunt Jara, Aunt Khaki, Uncle Sammy, Momma Jayne & Papa Hans) thank you for everything! And last but not least I want to say thank you to Momma C, Uncle, and Carli.. Ya'll have put up with me for 3 1/2 years and I cannot tell you how much it has meant to me.. Momma C and Uncle, through the thick and the thin, through Carli and I's ups and downs you two have always been there for me and I thank you for everything that you two have done for me! Carli, there are no words that can describe what you have meant to me nor how much I love you for all that you have done for me.. I hope that this is just the beginning to a long and amazing life together.. Thank you to everyone! And GO BEARS!!"
Anthony Miller "The last four years at Cal have been very memorable. Thanks to everyone I have met during my time here at Cal. It is hard to believe that it is coming to an end. C.J. Moncrease "My time here has been very hard yet enjoyable. Things have not gone the way I have planned, but I'm very happy I stuck with it and came out of it with a Cal degree. Thank you for the scholarship, Coach Tedford. DBs, keep balling hard. I'm going to come and check up on you all from time to time. It's been fun, but it's time to go. GO BEARS!"
Robert Mullins ""I'd like to give thanks to everyone involved in making my Cal experience the best that it could be. Though time has flown by the memories that I have made will never leave me. I'd like to give thanks to my brother Marcus and my parents Robert and Cheryl Mullins for supporting me during my tenure at Cal."
Ernest Owusu "As I close my experience as a Golden Bear, I refuse to be sad it happened, but rather glad it happened. It's been a wild roller coaster. Whether I was trying to concentrate during workouts as tree people dropped their buckets on police or experiencing the jubilation of watching all of bear territory storm the field after we beat Stanford, my experience at Cal has been truly unique. I can attribute that to all of the support I have received from my coaches, teammates, fans and family. So as my time descends, just know that I will bleed blue and gold until the day I die. I love ya, bear territory. Go Bears!"
Mitchell Schwartz "The past four and a half years here at Cal have been great. The entire staff has been really amazing to be around from top to bottom and they've created an environment that everyone enjoys. I've met a lot of awesome guys on the team that I'll be friends with forever. We had a lot of fun, whether it was in the meeting room, locker room, training room, on planes and buses or especially on the field."
Giorgio Tavecchio "God knows how I got to Cal and God knows where I will go in the future, but one thing is for certain- my time here has been incredible. From the times of struggle, whether it was on or off the field to the times of success, I cannot believe the experiences that I have been a part of. For this, I have to thank the Cal football program for giving me this unbelievable opportunity, thank my teammates for making it so memorable and thank my family and friends for sticking with me through it all. "Tanto, se tutto va bene siamo rovinati!" I truly lived the dream...God Bless and Go Bears!"
John Tyndall "It has been a privilege and a blessing to be a part of this team and this university. The friendships I have made and the lessons I have learned will stay with me for the rest of my life. I came to Cal as a boy, and am leaving as a man."
