Prior to the final California home football game, each Cal football senior was given the opportunity to write a message about his time with the Golden Bears. The words could be a message to friends, fans or family, or simply any message they wanted to put out in the final game program. Here are their words:
My experience at Cal has been unforgettable. My time here has been the best experience of my life, filled with memories I will cherish forever. I could not be more thankful for my opportunity to be here. And for all that I would like to thank my friends and family. GO BEARS!
A wise coach once told me, "Give up for a second and that is where you will finish." I am very grateful for the time that I have spent here at Cal, which has provided me with essential life lessons. I genuinely appreciate the opportunities that have been given to me, as I understand it is a privilege to play for this university. Thank you to all the good people who have bestowed me with wonderful memories and supported me throughout college. Go Bears.

My experience and career at CAL has opened my eyes and broadened my world view. I have made friendships and memories that I will take with me for a lifetime. I would like to thank my parents, my sisters and my beautiful girlfriend Makenzie for all their love and support over the last five years. Cal football is defined by the great type of people that play here, and to all my teammates I want to thank you all for all the great memories and fun over the last 5 years. A special thanks to the coaches for believing in me and my abilities. And too all of 66th street, old and new. Once a Bear, Always a Bear! GO BEARS!
It's been a long time coming... Now it's over... I want to thank my family for all their love and support.
Looking back on my days at Cal, I realize how fortunate I truly am to have had the opportunity to be a part of this great university. I can honestly say that coming to Cal was the best decision I have ever made. My experience in Berkeley has taught me so much about myself and the world around me. Although the past five years has gone by so fast, I will never forget all of the great times that I have had and will cherish those memories forever. I want to thank my family: Mom, Dad, Caitlin, and Alivia for their guidance and tireless support. No matter what you guys always believed in me and I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you all. I also want to thank my friends; especially the boys at 66th, for their support and for helping me have the time of my life. To my teammates: have as much fun as you can, have no regrets, and be grateful for this opportunity. Go Bears!
First, I want to give thanks to God for everything and blessing me with this great school, coaches, and teammates. These years I have spent at Cal have been the best years of my life thus far. I wouldn't change anything that I have gone through so I just want to say thanks to my family and everyone who played a part in making me the man I am today.
My time at Cal has been short but sweet. I would like to thank Coach Tedford and Coach Michalczik and the rest of the coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. I would like to thank the guys in the O-line room for making this time go by so fast because as you know, "time flies when your having fun." It has been my dream to play for a Division 1 national powerhouse, coming to Cal I have had the opportunity to pursue this dream and it is hard to believe that I will be leaving this dream just as fast as I came into it. Go Bears!!!
I would just like to thank my Mom and Dad, friends, family, and coaches that have helped give me the opportunity to achieve my dream of playing college football. I knew I had the will, you all helped me find the way. The time I have spent at this University and on this football team will be forever cherished. Go Bears!
Thank you GOD, my family and the rest of my support system. Came in a boy, leaving a man. Superman is alive!
Don't wait too late.
First I would like to thank my family - my father, Pete, my mother, Lisa, my two sisters, Lindsay and Margaret, and my two brothers, Patrick and Conlan. And Lauren for putting up with me. Mulk, thank you for teaching me how to punt! Deciding to come to Cal was the best decision I've ever made. To be a part of this University is truly an honor. I've made many life-long friends in the short two years I've been here. I've had great times on and off the field. Thank you to all the fans that come to the games! "Live life with no regrets," that's my motto, that and, "Everybody wang chung tonite!" Go Bears!

Looking back on my five years at Cal I can not believe how fast it has gone. It seems like yesterday I was moving into Clark Kerr. I am going to miss my roommates the most. Sam, Craig, and DLP, it's been a great time, with so many memories I'll never forget. I first want to thank my mother and father for always being there for me. I look up to them so much and strive to be like them when I grow up. I want to say thanks to my brother and sister for all their support. I want to thank all of my many teammates that I have had over the last couple of years. The friendships that I have made will last forever and I'll never forget you guys. I would also like to thank the coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to come to Cal and play football. Lastly I would like to thank the fans for making all the games so much fun. It has been crazy to see the transformation of Cal football since I've been here. I would not change my experience for anything. I will cherish these memories for the rest of my life. Once a Golden Bear always a Golden Bear. GO BEARS!
Being a student athlete at Cal has been an extraordinary experience that I will always treasure. Berkeley has provided me with an ideal landscape to cultivate myself as an athlete, academic, and individual. What I will cherish most from my experience is the relationships with my fellow athletes, classmates, and staff. The individuals involved with Cal academics and athletics are second to none. Always and forever, Go Bears!

Pain heals...chicks dig scars...glory lasts forever.
Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go - through the ups and downs, my experience here at Berkeley has been amazing. From the players to the students that surround me, I couldn't be more grateful to be among them. I want to thank my father who stressed the importance of education and achieving my goals. Without his guidance, I wouldn't be here - thank you dad.
