BERKELEY, Calif. - The No. 4 Cal women's tennis team continues to steamroll through the competition, defeating San Diego State, 5-1, on a rainy and windy day in Berkeley. The Golden Bears move to 7-1 on the season.

Raquel Kops-Jones woke up after a slow early morning start to win her match 3-6, 6-1, 6-2. Jieun Jacobs also needed three sets to get the job done against Dita Hauerlandova. 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, to pick up her 12th victory of the season.

The Bears swept courts 4, 5, and 6 with Nicole Havlicek and Catherine Lynch both picking up their 14th victories of the season, while Monica Wiesener broke into double digits in victories with 10.

Cal hosts Fresno State tomorrow at noon at the Hellman Tennis Complex.
