With spring football now complete and the start of training camp four months away, Cal football coach Sonny Dykes took advantage the break in his schedule to visit with Golden Bear fans and alumni in two events in southern California this week.

Dykes' first stop was at Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano in Orange County, where Cal Hall of Famer and former head coach Mike White was among those in attendance. On Thursday, more than 200 supporters, including Big Game hero Kevin Moen, came to an event at the Los Angeles Country Club to hear Dykes speak about the Bears and what fans can expect to see in the fall.

With more than 100,000 alumni living in southern California, Dykes used the opportunity to connect with some of the Bears' most loyal fans in the state.

Tickets for Cal's 2013 season, which features seven home games and includes home contests against such opponents as Northwestern, Ohio State and USC, are now on sale through the tickets link on CalBears.com.
