Head coach Joanne Boyle
On what happened at the beginning of the game
"We just came out flat. I haven't seen my team come out that bad before. I think we got shell shocked. I think Colorado did a great job. They just really, on the home floor, came out and attacked us and got us back on our heels. We recovered, but 20 minutes too late to even make it a game. A lot of credit to them, coming into the conference. They are going to be a great team in the conference. We are young and injured. We have to be able to have buy-in and play 40 minutes. That has been our struggle all year, playing hard for 40 minutes."
On what her message was at halftime
"Is this the feeling you want, for this to be the last game of the year, and you will have this feeling until you go into next season. Or are you going to do something about it and have 20 minutes of great basketball. Not that we could win the game at that point, but we need to do the best we can and have something positive to go into the offseason with."
On what adjustments they made in the second half
"We got away from man, because we couldn't guard them, so a lot more zone. We were just much more aggressive in our zone in the second half. We started trapping a little more. We played people, positions, accordingly. And we were just much more aggressive. We got easier baskets. We were more aggressive on the offensive end. In general, we were just more aggressive."
On the play of Layshia Clarendon
"She has been really attacking, really looking and really having the mindset that she needs to score for us. She has been trying to do it. Give her credit for trying to get to the basket. She took some really tough shots. At some point she was putting the team on her back a little bit on the offensive end of the floor. And she has done that consistently the last couple of games."
