BERKELEY - Cal sophomore forward Ryan Anderson, who missed much of the second half of Wednesday's game vs. Southern Miss with blurred vision in his left eye, experienced no symptoms Thursday.
Anderson underwent an MRI to scan both his eye and brain and an MRA to scan the circulatory system, and both tests produced normal results. He also plans to see an eye doctor on Friday. Cal team physician Dr. Jeff Nelson believes Anderson experienced a form of a migraine during the game.
Anderson left the game about two-and-a-half minutes into the second half and re-entered with 7:40 left. He finished the contest with 11 points and five rebounds, with six of his points coming after his return.
Cal defeated Southern Miss, 67-59, in its season opener. The Bears return to action Monday when they host Nicholls State at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Haas Pavilion.
