Junior Joanne Lee comes into the spring season ranked No. 16 among individuals in the Golfweek rankings. In the fall, Joanne set a Cal record for lowest score in a single round, shooting a 65 (-6) in the opening round of the Pac-10/SEC Challenge at Stanford Golf Course. She was Cal's 2009-10 scoring leader, averaging 73.6 shots per round.
Joanne qualified for the US Women's Amateur this last summer, competing at the Charlotte Country Club in North Carolina. She played in the 2006 and 2007 US Women's Open Championships. In high school, she competed in the U.S. Women's Amateur Championships five straight years (2003-07) and in the U.S. Girls' Junior Championships four straight years (2003-06).

Who has been your favorite professor/ class at Cal? Prof. Bhandari from ISF. He taught me how to really analyze classic texts and relate it to our current society. He really opened my eyes to fully grasping class material.
What is one thing about your hometown that you miss? The views. I miss driving in circles and really appreciating mother nature.
What is the strongest part of your game? Putting

What is your favorite movie of all-time? Save the last Dance
What is your favorite recent movie? Inception
What challenge do you find in golf that you do not find in any other sport? That you have to be mentally in the game for all 5 hours. There's no time to slack-off. If you're not in it, game over.
