BERKELEY - Cal softball will recognize its alumnae players and coaches from the 1970s on Alumnae Day Saturday when the No. 4 Bears host No. 1 Arizona at Levine-Fricke Field.

All Cal Softball alumnae, parents and friends are encouraged to attend the Cal vs. Arizona game, scheduled for 2 p.m., and stay for a barbecue and program in the Strawberry Canyon Haas Club House directly following the game's conclusion, approximately 4:30 p.m.

The Bears will be honoring all 1970s players, many of whom are expected to be in attendance, prior to the game. Players will line up on the field for the game's first pitch, to be thrown by Roberta Park, an assistant coach in 1973 and the former chair of Cal's Physical Education Department. Each player will also receive a Big C award.

Please call Kathy Andrews at (510) 643-1299 to register for the time event. Tickets are $25 per person.
